The Opferhilfe beider Basel is the counseling center for people affected by violence in the Basel-Stadt and Basel-Landschaft region. For the team -Crimes in Public Space- as well as for -queer victims of violence-, we are looking to strengthen our team with a committed and motivated Specialized Consultant for Counseling FH 80% ## Start of employment by agreement, applications from queer people are welcome Your tasks • Individual counseling and accompaniment as well as case management for people who have become victims of a crime according to the Opferhilfegesetz in the area of general crimes and traffic accidents • Individual counseling and accompaniment as well as case management for queer people who have become victims of a crime according to the Opferhilfegesetz (sexualized violence, violence in queer relationships, hate crimes) • Clarification and mediation of financial benefits according to the Opferhilfegesetz • Mediation of specialists and interdisciplinary cooperation with other institutions, authorities and private specialist offices • Representation of interests and networking with queer specialist offices in cantonal and nationwide networks • Public relations, implementation of training and information events • Collaboration in internal and external working groups as well as in projects You bring • Completed degree in Social Work FH (or similar) • Several years of experience in counseling people in difficult situations • High social competence and resilience • Independent, precise and responsible work style • Ability and pleasure in working in a team and in interdisciplinary working groups • Flexibility and openness to working in one of the other specialist areas We offer you • Diverse and challenging activities in an interesting environment • Motivated and experienced team, interdisciplinary cooperation • Careful introduction and participation in the CAS Opferhilfe FH Bern • Participation in team meetings, supervision, internal and external further education • Attractive employment conditions • Central, conveniently located workplace
