YOUR TASKS • You are responsible for the setup and breakdown of the breakfast buffet and ensure there is always sufficient availability and a varied selection of food and drinks • You prepare simple cold dishes (cheese/cold cut platters, salads etc.) & drinks and provide information about the composition or ingredients of the food • You welcome our guests for breakfast and inform them about our food and beverage offering • You are responsible for the cleanliness of your work area according to the guideline - HACCP and our internal standards • You manage and monitor stock levels as well as deliveries and place orders for food and consumables • enjoy working in a diverse work environment and are flexible towards changing working hours such as on weekends or during the week as well as early morning, afternoon or evening shifts YOUR PROFILE • You enjoy interacting with our national and international guests • You are a team player and like to lend your colleagues a helping hand • You work efficiently and well-structured Ideally, you have initial experience in the hotel industry • You speak German and English at least at a solid B2-C1 level and other foreign languages are an advantage MEININGER OFFERS • A fixed salary and additional benefits • 35 vacation days, 6 statutory public holidays plus extra vacation days for each year of service (max. 5 days) • 2 extra paid vacation days per year for your volunteer activities (Corporate Volunteering & VTO Program) • Working in a diverse team where your individuality counts Development opportunities as part of an international organization • MEININGER Staff Nights program and discounts for friends & family • Employee events and team activities: M-Days, winter celebrations, teambuilding events • Open Up: Access to 1:1 sessions with certified psychologists for MEININGER employees and their families APPLICATION We are enthusiastic hosts who are as diverse as our guests.
