At Kinderheim Weidhalde in the Zürcher Oberland, we accompany up to 15 children and adolescents in a familial and socio-pedagogical everyday life. We offer young people a safe place, reliability, development opportunities, and perspectives. In doing so, we work closely with families, authorities, schools, and specialist agencies.

Due to the retirement of our long-standing home management, we are looking for a committed, reflective, and strong-willed personality who wants to help shape the future of Weidhalde together with our team.

Your task

You will take over the professional, personnel, and organizational overall management of Kinderheim Weidhalde. Together with the team, you will ensure a professional, appreciative, and development-promoting everyday life for the children and adolescents.

In doing so, you combine a socio-pedagogical attitude with leadership responsibility, organizational skill, and enjoyment of further development.

Your most important tasks

• Leadership and accompaniment of the socio-pedagogical team
• Responsibility for the professional, organizational, and operational development of the institution
• Ensuring child welfare and professional care in everyday life
• Further development and implementation of the socio-pedagogical concept
• Participation in everyday life with the children and adolescents
• Personnel planning, employee discussions, as well as promotion and development of employees
• Cooperation with parents, schools, therapists, authorities, and specialist agencies
• Responsibility for budget, administration, and operational organization
• Accompaniment of admission, assessment, and exit processes
• Participation in strategic and conceptual development processes
• Responsibility for quality assurance as well as compliance with legal requirements

What you bring with you

• Education in socio-pedagogy, social work, or a comparable field (FH/HF/Uni)
• Several years of experience in inpatient child and youth welfare
• Leadership experience and enjoyment in accompanying people and processes
• Professional expertise as well as a clear and appreciative attitude
• Business administration experience
• Interest in organizational development and conceptual work
• Resilience, humor, and capacity for reflection
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Enjoyment of cooperation and communication
• Impeccable reputation
