This department provides care to female and male patients of all ages, children and adults, suffering from neurosurgical, neurological, ophthalmological and oto-rhino-laryngological pathologies. Care is adapted to the needs and difficulties of the patient, ranging from the most acute sectors (intermediate care units) to rehabilitation sectors (neurorehabilitation). The objective of the department is to lead the patients towards recovery of their autonomy through teaching, support and outpatient follow-up. It ensures the operation of patients as well as their support, in order to promote an early return home. In the same vein, outpatient care is also prioritized and operative activity is optimized, to facilitate accessibility to care within a reasonable timeframe. The Service de neurologie manages, on diagnostic and therapeutic levels, female and male patients suffering from a neurological condition, often in collaboration with other Services such as neuroradiology, neurosurgery, neurorehabilitation and the Internal Medicine specialty Services. Nurse in EEG Epileptology - 80% You evolve in two sectors at once, both inpatient and outpatient, with agility across the 3 shifts. You are responsible for welcoming and taking care of epileptic patients of all ages (from children to the elderly), as part of a pre-surgical assessment of epilepsy or in the performance of EEG examinations. You provide specific autonomous care and perform delegated medical acts. You manage emergency situations. You accompany the patients as well as their entourage during the course of epilepsy disease for preparation for potential surgery by relying on therapeutic education. You work in close collaboration with the medical team. Qualifications You benefit from a Bachelor HES in nursing or an equivalent recognized title by the Croix-Rouge suisse. You benefit from a successful experience of at least 5 years as a nurse. You are interested in the care of epileptic patients of all ages (from children to the elderly), hospitalized for monitoring and close supervision. Your clinical judgment is developed and you know how to question your professional practice. You are rigorous with a mastery of technical gestures, institutional protocols and acute situations. You have good stress management and a sense of adaptation during emergency situations. You establish a respectful relationship, listening to patients and relatives, knowing how to adapt your communication to different situations. You carry the relational values of working in an interprofessional team. You demonstrate rigor, flexibility, versatility and are open to change. You are ready to participate in the continuous training offered by the medical team in order to progress and update your knowledge.
