Assistant to the Chief Physician

The University Clinic for General Internal Medicine ensures the general internal medicine care of the Bern region and is furthermore one of the largest medical continuing education and research clinics in Switzerland. As the assistant to the Chief Physician and Head of the Medical Outpatient Clinic (MedPol), you will take on a central hub function and support him in his diverse tasks in clinic, teaching and research within the University Clinic for General Internal Medicine.

What awaits you

• Correspondence in German, French and English with various internal and external contact persons
• Preparation of consultations, appointment scheduling and support for private patients
• Independent management of the agenda of the Chief Physician and Head of the Medical Outpatient Clinic
• Organization and coordination of meetings
• Support of the Chief Physician in his diverse tasks in clinic, teaching and research

What you bring with you

• Completed commercial training or training as a medical secretary as well as several years of professional experience in the administrative field
• Very good MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Organizational talent, initiative and high service orientation
• Independent, structured way of working, flexibility, teamwork and discretion
• Stylish German, very good French skills (at least B2) and good English skills
