The Psychiatry Department, with nearly 1'300 employees, effectively detects and treats increasingly frequent and polymorphic pathologies while respecting patients, their loved ones, and the environment. Its mission within the HUG also includes training and research. Job Description ## Clinical specialists are a team of expert professionals in various fields of care and contribute to improving practices and the quality of care provided to patients through their actions. The Nursing Department, in partnership with the Psychiatry Department, is seeking a nurse capable of exercising an expert or leadership function in the field of mental health and psychiatry, in direct contact with clinical activity. You will intervene transversally within the Psychiatry Department and more specifically within the Adult Psychiatry Service, as well as across all HUG services, for adult patients whose mental health is fragile and/or who suffer from a psychiatric illness, in complex situations. You will also work with the care teams of the hospital services to ensure optimal care for the patient. You will develop care protocols and work on projects to improve clinical practices. You will introduce updated practices based on evidence at the level of care and therapies in collaboration with management staff, and more specifically the deputies of the Head of Psychiatry Care. You will accompany patients and support care teams in the trajectories of people suffering from mental illness through clinical pathways. You enjoy transmitting knowledge, so you design and provide training actions for various health professionals in this field. You also participate in the development and teaching of certified training in mental health and psychiatry. Through your curiosity and updating of knowledge, you contribute to the development of knowledge in this field. Qualifications ## You have a Bachelor's degree from a University of Applied Sciences or an equivalent nursing diploma. You hold a specialization diploma in the field of mental health and psychiatry, a second-cycle university degree, such as a Master's degree in Nursing Sciences, or the ability to complete one. You have 5 years of professional experience, specifically in psychiatric sectors. You have a particular interest in borderline personality disorders, as well as suicidal crisis situations and their prevention. You master clinical evaluation in psychiatry and standardized assessment scales for detecting vulnerability in mental health. You have a good identification of your own emotions, allowing you to take care of patients. You are competent in nursing interviews, know various associated therapies, and follow the evolution of care concepts and therapeutics. You are familiar with the different structures of the HUG and the care network. You have a good ability to conceptualize, argue, and synthesize. You are a force of proposal and have the ability to innovate. You have skills in animation strategies, analysis of professional practice, and support for care teams. You have good priority management and the ability to adapt to stressful situations. You have a good ability to understand English language texts. You use common office software. Experience in participating in working groups and leading projects is a plus. You have excellent relational and collaborative skills, as well as the ability to work in interprofessional settings. You are able to work autonomously, prioritize, and demonstrate great rigor. You are able to position yourself in complex situations.
