Automation Engineer (FH/HF)

Your tasks:

• Co-development, support, and implementation of our strategy for plant digitalization of all swisspor plants
• Management of projects related to digital transformation in the field of Operation Technology OT
• Elaboration, planning, and implementation of newest functionalities and standards regarding the digitalization of manufacturing processes.
• Support in the construction of new plants and the procurement of equipment as well as the evaluation of hardware and software partners
• Designing innovative automation concepts for new production plants in close cooperation with process technology and suppliers
• Further development and standardization of existing plants
• Designing and implementing innovative automation concepts for new and existing production plants.
• Acting on all levels of the automation pyramid (ERP, MES, SCADA, PLC)

Your profile:

• Completed training (studies or vocational apprenticeship) in the technical field, preferably automation technician, systems technician, computer scientist
• High degree of independence and a practice-oriented way of working.
• Higher education (HF/FH) in the field of automation and/or computer science
• You have experience in the commissioning of industrial controls and visualization systems such as Siemens S7 and/or WinCC.
• Open to travel of up to 20 % domestically and abroad (Europe)
• Very good German and English skills
