Head of Projects & Processes Facility Management (80-100%)

What you do ##

As a staff unit of the Facility Management Directorate, you will take on a versatile key role: you will drive the further development of processes and digitalization, lead projects, and coordinate the interests of Facility Management in construction projects - always with the goal of ensuring efficient operation.

• Construction projects and commissioning: You coordinate the involved FM areas and ensure that operational requirements are considered early on and that the prerequisites for a smooth start of operations are created.
• New hospital construction: As a sub-project manager for Facility Management, you represent the operational interests of Facility Management in the planned new hospital construction and actively bring its requirements into the planning, implementation, and commissioning.
• Projects, processes and concepts: You lead cross-departmental projects, optimize processes, and develop operational concepts together with the specialist departments. You ensure sustainable implementation as well as the integration of the results into operational business.
• Project portfolio management: You control and coordinate the project portfolio of Facility Management in close coordination with your supervisor. In doing so, you support the prioritization and coordination of projects and work on interdisciplinary hospital projects.
• Digitalization and applications: You drive the digitalization and further development of processes and systems in Facility Management. In doing so, you are specifically responsible for the further development of the CAFM solution and other relevant applications in cooperation with the responsible internal and external partners.
• Specialist representation and contract management: You represent the interests of Facility Management at internal and external interfaces, contribute your expertise to internal commissions, working groups, and interdisciplinary projects, and support your supervisor in contract management.

What distinguishes you ##

• Professional background: You have a higher education in Facility Management, construction or building technology, process management, business administration, or a comparable field of study.
• Project and process experience: You bring sound experience in managing complex projects, process optimization, and controlling cross-departmental projects. You coordinate different interests, set priorities, and lead projects purposefully from conception to sustainable implementation.
• Construction project competence: You know the requirements of construction and commissioning projects. Experience in planning- and construction-accompanying Facility Management (pbFM) is particularly welcome.
• Digitalization understanding: You are interested in the further development of digital processes and applications and ideally bring corresponding experience.
• Social and service competence: You communicate convincingly, enjoy working with different professional groups, and win stakeholders over for common solutions. You align your actions with the requirements of a reliable and economical hospital operation.
• Personality and working style: You think in networks and entrepreneurially, recognize optimization potential, and drive changes proactively, in a structured and solution-oriented manner. You possess strong organizational skills, assertiveness, as well as an independent and structured way of working.
• Industry knowledge:

Experience in Facility Management and/or the healthcare sector is an advantage.
