Senior System Engineer (80-100%)

What you will be doing • You will conceptualize, operate, and develop our hybrid IT infrastructure holistically - both on-premises and in the cloud. • Together with the team and internal stakeholders, you will develop sustainable IT solutions and implement them successfully • You will take responsibility for projects from analysis to evaluation, implementation, and rollout • You will ensure a stable, secure, and high-performance operation of our system landscape and drive its continuous development • For complex 2nd and 3rd level inquiries, you will contribute your expertise and ensure sustainable solutions We are looking for you if you • Have a solid education or further training in computer science (EFZ, HF/TS, FH or equivalent) and several years of experience in system engineering, ideally in a production environment • Are familiar with current technologies (Microsoft Server Desktop, Virtualization, Cloud/Azure, M365 palette, network and security) • Enjoy automation, scripting, and the use of modern AI technologies to optimize processes • Find architecture topics exciting and like to think beyond mere operation • Work in a structured way, set priorities correctly, and approach tasks proactively and independently • Enjoy working in an interdisciplinary and international environment • Can communicate fluently in German and well in English What awaits you with us • Structured introduction to an experienced IT team • A lot of creative freedom and responsibility over the entire lifecycle of IT solutions • A versatile role with high independence, modern technologies, and exciting international projects • Flexible working hours (40h/week) and home office option • 5 weeks of vacation and attractive social benefits according to Swissmem-GAV Have we sparked your interest?
