For our client, an innovative Swiss company in international machine and plant engineering, we are looking for an experienced individual as a System Technician Automation. In this varied role, you will accompany demanding automation projects from hardware planning through software development to the commissioning of modern special-purpose machines and automated systems. You will work closely with design, assembly, and project management and make a decisive contribution to the successful implementation of customer-specific solutions.

Your Task ##

• Development and programming of PLC controls for complex machine and automation systems
• Planning and elaboration of electrical circuit documentation, circuit diagrams, and hardware concepts using modern CAE systems
• Definition and design of control and automation components for customer-specific systems
• Execution of software tests as well as support during commissioning in the factory
• Accompanying system acceptances as well as technical support during commissioning domestically and abroad
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation

Your Profile ##

• Basic technical training as an automation technician, electrical designer, electronics technician, or comparable training
• Further training at HF or FH level with a focus on automation, electrical engineering, or systems technology
• Professional experience in PLC programming or electrical design in machine or plant engineering
• Knowledge in the programming of PLC controls (Siemens S7, TIA Portal)
• Knowledge of EPLAN or a comparable electrical CAD system
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
• Team player personality with enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation
• Fluent German skills, as well as English skills
