Caregiver (Social or Childhood Education / Specialist in Childcare EFZ)

The Oberlimatte is an institution active in childcare at several locations in the Oberaargau. The Oberlimatte operates three kindergartens, three stationary living groups for children and adolescents, a socio-pedagogical day structure in Langenthal, and offers outpatient services in the context of children and adolescents. The well-being of the children is a priority. To complement our team in the living groups for preschool-age children and young women, we are looking for from August 1, 2026, or by agreement a Caregiver 60-70% (Social or Childhood Education, Specialist in Childcare EFZ) An interesting and varied work environment awaits you. The care is very individual, supportive, and promoting. Requirements: • Completed training in childcare or pedagogy (professional experience an advantage) • A big heart for children and adolescents • Sense of responsibility and reliability • Stress tolerance and flexibility • Good team skills • Proficient in German, both verbally and in writing. Area of responsibility: • Accompaniment, care, and promotion of children and young women • Assistance with leisure activities • Reference person work • Evening and night shifts • Weekend shifts by agreement.
