Social worker # Grisons social service office | 80% | Coira ## On behalf of the municipalities, the cantonal social service office fulfills the task of providing social and addiction-related aid to people and supports the latter in accessing economic social assistance. To this end, it manages eight regional social services in the regions of the Canton. The Coira/Plessur/Imboden regional social service is responsible for 10 municipalities with a catchment area of 67,000 people. Social counseling, addiction aid and financial support (gr.ch) For the Coira location, we are looking for a social worker starting 1 August 2026 or by agreement. Mansioni • Solution- and resource-oriented social counseling addressed to individuals and families • Guaranteeing access to social insurance benefits as well as economic social assistance • Counseling and financial support for persons with S protection status from Ukraine hosted in individual accommodations • Counseling regarding linguistic, professional and social integration for recognized refugees and provisionally admitted persons as well as foreigners • Collaboration with social authorities and specialized services • Other varied, interesting and responsibility-filled activities What we expect from you • Completed training as a social worker BSc/SUP or equivalent training • Aptitude for working with people of different social backgrounds and/or cultural origins • High counseling skills as well as solid specific legal knowledge in social assistance within the social insurance sector • Sociability, ability to sustain intense work rhythms, predisposition for teamwork, good communication, organizational and administrative skills • Ideally good knowledge of foreign languages • Autonomous and solution-oriented way of working We look forward to receiving your online application and will be pleased to meet you.
