Senior Project Manager Industrial Engineering

Your area of responsibility #### • Project management and active participation in investment and optimization projects in an international environment using the Simultaneous Engineering approach • Development, design, analysis, and improvement of industrialization concepts and manufacturing process chains including associated cost calculations for the continuous optimization of product and production costs • Support in the implementation of Design for Manufacturing (DfM) • Design of innovative plant layouts and optimization of material flows as well as value streams to ensure efficient production processes • Evaluation and selection of suitable suppliers for industrialization as well as creation of functional specifications together with Process Engineering for the procurement of production equipment • Co-shaping the establishment of the PMO as well as prospective assumption of additional coordination and leadership tasks in the team environment Your profile #### • Completed studies in mechatronics, mechanical engineering, automation technology or comparable, ideally paired with further training in business administration • Several years of professional experience in industrial engineering, cost calculation, and project management • Sound knowledge in the design and optimization of industrialization concepts as well as experience with economic analyses of alternative manufacturing concepts • Experience in the automotive supplier industry and knowledge of the IATF 16949 standard is an advantage • Experience in the coordination of international teams as well as ideally initial leadership experience • Strong implementation personality with initiative to support in a dynamic environment • Analytical skills, structured and proactive way of working • Very good English skills in spoken and written form • Willingness to travel (approx. 20 %) and valid driving license category B Why HUBER+SUHNER? #### This responsible task at the interface to Program Management, R&D, Process Engineering and Procurement offers the unique chance to fully help shape the further expansion of a highly automated production line in our foreign branch.
