Your contribution

• Create, analyze and convey the situational picture across the entire operational spectrum of the Dienst für präventiven Schutz der Armee (DPSA)
• Interpret, compare, consolidate and evaluate data, identify gaps in the situational picture and derive targeted measures to close them
• Analyze threats such as espionage, sabotage and other unlawful acts as well as develop preventive protection concepts and measures
• Create intelligence products and decision-making bases for the operational level and represent the military defense situation in specialist committees
• Continuously monitor, assess and prepare the internal security situation of the army in a manner appropriate to the target group

What makes you unique

• Officer of the Swiss Army (at least Lieutenant), specialist training as an intelligence officer
• University/technical college degree (preferably in political science, criminology, law or psychology) or several years of function-relevant professional experience in intelligence/state security or the police sector
• Experience and competencies at the operational level (staff work) is an advantage
• Strong analytical, methodological and editorial competence as well as level-appropriate communication
• Good oral and written knowledge of a second official language as well as good English skills

In a constantly changing security situation, it is all the more important to recognize connections before others see them. Through analysis, interpretation and prioritization of information from various sources, you create the situational picture, identify risks and create the basis for preventive protection measures to take effect in a targeted and effective manner.
The Dienst für präventiven Schutz der Armee (DPSA) forms the first line of defense of the army. It monitors and assesses the military security situation and takes precautionary measures to protect the army from espionage, sabotage and other unlawful acts.

The Kommando Operationen (Kdo Op) is responsible for all military operations and missions of the Swiss Army. Kdo Op includes, among others, the Air Force, the Army, the four territorial divisions, the Kompetenzzentrum SWISSINT, the Kommando Spezialkräfte as well as the Military Police.
