To complement our team, we are looking for you as an Economist (m/f/d) on 1 January 2027 or by arrangement * Interesting and challenging activity in the economist team of the Finance Department at the interface of administration, government, and cantonal council * Examination and assessment of government and cantonal council business from all departments * Support of the head of department, the secretary general, and the economist team with economic and business issues * Participation in working and project groups as a representative of the Finance Department * Participation in the preparation of reports and creation of presentations * Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in an economic direction (FH/Uni), preferably with a focus in the area of economics or Public Management * Interest in financial and political issues * Quick comprehension and independent way of working * A stylish oral and written expression in German * An exciting environment with diverse challenges * Excellent opportunities for professional and personal development * Interesting tasks at the interface of politics, government, and administration as well as an exchange with diverse stakeholders * Flexible working and contemporary employment conditions as well as an attractive workplace in the center of the city The position is particularly suitable for an entry into the profession after completing studies.
