The city of Langenthal forms the center of the Bernese Oberaargau with a catchment area of around 80-000 people and is the eighth largest municipality in the Canton of Bern with approx. 16-400 inhabitants. The Sozialamt of the city of Langenthal is a medium-sized social service with 24 committed social workers, divided into 5 teams, which are led by group leaders, specialist unit leaders, department heads, and a head of office. We have a well-organized administration and are a young and dynamic team. To complement our team in the specialist area of Child and Adult Protection, we are looking for a committed and motivated personality as a Social Worker in Child and Adult Protection (60%-100%) as of 1 September 2026 or by arrangement.
