Mechanic for overhead line traction machine (FZM)

• In this exciting role, you operate the overhead line traction machine (FZM) to carry out maintenance and renewal work on overhead line systems.
• Preparing the machine for the shift is also part of your tasks, as well as supporting the regional overhead line teams if required.
• Operating the overhead line traction machine requires independent working, but is always carried out in a two-person team - teamwork and clear communication are therefore essential.
• With your know-how and manual skills, you can handle various pieces of work equipment, with safety being your top priority.

• You are a: team player with a strong sense of safety awareness and you enjoy constantly developing yourself professionally and personally.
• Irregular working hours, including night and weekend work, are part of your daily work routine. You are physically fit and enjoy working outdoors.
• For this position, you need a completed manual vocational apprenticeship EFZ.
• There is the motivation to develop further into a locomotive driver (train driver) of category A or B100. During the full-time training (4-9 months), 100% remuneration is provided.
• German language skills (level B2) in speaking and writing are a prerequisite and you possess a driving license category B.
