Zollikofen BE (and home office) \| 80-100% Your contribution <br /> • Analyze complex databases in the GEVER context, identify anomalies, and develop solid technical bases for decision-making • Systematically verify data quality and adopt correction, harmonization, and validation measures • Develop, optimize, and document SQL queries, scripts, and automated analysis and control routines • Handle the management, monitoring, and updating of relational databases and ensure their performance, availability, and stability • Plan and test backup, restore, recovery, and restart procedures, executing them reliably when necessary • Actively participate in data migration, fault analysis, and development projects and work in close collaboration with specialist, operational, and development departments and external partners <br /> What distinguishes you <br /> • Degree in computer science, business informatics, data engineering, data science, or equivalent (ongoing) training • Several years of experience in the context of databases and excellent knowledge of relational databases, SQL, data models, and performance analysis • Practical experience in analyzing complex databases, data quality and cleansing, migration, and ETL or ELT processes • In-depth knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., PowerShell or Python) • Familiarity with backup, restore, recovery, monitoring, operating systems, interfaces, and application architectures • Analytical approach, strong sense of responsibility, and meticulous working method; good knowledge of an official language and English <br /> In summary We are looking for a person interested in occupying a position that combines classic database administration and data science, without being limited exclusively to one of these two areas.
