Technical Buyer 100% (all)

For our customer in Winterthur, we are looking for a reliable and conscientious technical buyer (all). This is a direct permanent position that can be started immediately or by arrangement.

Tasks

• Procurement of electrotechnical components, assemblies and consumables
• Support of selected product groups and maintenance of supplier relationships
• Requesting and comparing offers as well as conducting price negotiations
• Processing and monitoring orders to ensure material availability
• Checking technical documents and specifications regarding quality, availability and costs
• Collaboration on procurement projects as well as optimization of purchasing processes
• Evaluation and further development of suppliers as well as support during audits
• Identification of savings potential and ensuring economical procurement
• Close cooperation with Engineering, Design, Production and Quality Assurance

Requirements

• Completed commercial or technical training, ideally with further training in purchasing
• Technical understanding, preferably in the field of electrical engineering or electromechanics
• at least 3 years of professional experience in technical purchasing, in vehicle or mechanical engineering mandatory
• Knowledge in the procurement of electrical and electromechanical components
• Understanding of automotive quality standards, ideally IATF 16949 or Automotive Core Tools
• Very good German skills in spoken and written
• Confident use of ERP systems and MS Office, knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is a great advantage
