Area of responsibility

• Independent production of precise sheet metal components using CNC-controlled and semi-automatic press brakes
• Programming and adjustment of machine controls according to the respective manufacturing requirements
• Complete preparation and setup of bending systems for different production orders
• Processing of individual workpieces as well as smaller production series with quantities up to approximately 100 units
• Inspection of the manufactured components based on technical drawings, dimensional specifications, and defined quality requirements
• Carrying out dimensional checks using suitable testing and measuring tools
• Identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement within the manufacturing processes
• Ensuring the functionality of the production equipment used through regular maintenance work

Desired profile

• Verifiable practical experience in bending sheet metal parts as well as in the independent programming of corresponding machines
• Completed vocational training as a plant and apparatus builder, mechapraktiker, or in a comparable metalworking specialty; alternatively, sound professional experience in sheet metal processing
• Confident handling of press brakes, different machine controls, and the associated setup processes
• Ability to correctly interpret technical manufacturing drawings and reliably adhere to specified dimensions
• Good knowledge in the use of measuring and testing equipment to control manufacturing quality
• Very good oral and written German skills
• Readiness to work in two-shift operation
• Independent, careful, and quality-oriented way of working as well as strong teamwork skills
