Frauenfeld \| 80-100% (jobsharing possible) What you can contribute to • Ensure the technical management of the operation of the basic infrastructure of information and communication technologies within the computer center at layer 1 level; this includes planning and implementing fiber optic and copper installations, assembling and disassembling computer hardware, replacing it as well as putting it into and out of service • Analyze and resolve malfunctions of hardware systems and fiber optic and copper network connections (incident management), and provide support during reconstruction and restart procedures, for example after system failures in the TIC and GBT areas • Assist in local management of computer center surfaces, system rooms and stocks using SAP; monitor the operating status using Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) • Participate in operating projects and perform on-site interventions, for example during migrations or infrastructure expansions • Ensure regular on-call service and intervene in case of hardware failures or malfunctions of the building's technical facilities (CVCSE) outside regular working hours <br /> What makes you unique • Continuous education with a degree as a technician in the fields of telecommunications and/or system and network engineering and/or facility management, or equivalent education, as well as initial technical training (CFC) in the following specialties: electricity, telematics, electronics or multimedia electronics • Ideally, professional experience in the field of operating computer infrastructures (computer centers), as well as interdisciplinary expertise in IT areas of activity • Knowledge of layer 1 cabling systems according to the current state of the art, including required standards and norms • Logical and analytical mindset, sense of responsibility, stress resistance, rigor in work, discretion and availability for on-call services <br /> In a few words You will assume responsibilities and play a central role in a technically demanding environment.
