Who are we?

The Eidgenössische Hochschule für Berufsbildung EHB is the Swiss expertise organization for vocational education and training. We train and further educate those responsible for vocational training, research vocational training, further develop professions, and support international vocational training cooperation. Our locations are in Zollikofen near Bern (headquarters), Lausanne and Lugano, with external locations in Olten and Zürich.

Your area of responsibility

• You are the first point of contact for managers and employees in all HR matters. You advise, accompany and coach from personnel planning and recruitment to exit.
• You design and implement personnel development measures, support managers in employee discussions, development planning and succession arrangements and promote a vibrant feedback and learning culture.
• You participate in HR and organizational projects or lead them independently, for example during changes and transformations, process optimizations or the further development of HR instruments.
• You accompany managers in demanding situations such as conflicts, performance issues or reorganizations and also represent uncomfortable positions clearly and in a solution-oriented manner.
• You take on further tasks in the HR team and contribute with your initiative to further strengthening the HR area as a reliable partner.
• You are the deputy for your colleague for French-speaking and Italian-speaking Switzerland.

Your profile

• You have a federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) as an HR specialist (HR-Fachfrau/HR-Fachmann) or an equivalent qualification. Further training in Change Management, Transformation, organizational development or project management is a plus.
• You bring more than five years of professional experience in a comparable function. Experience in the educational environment or in the public sector is very welcome.
• You enjoy new challenges, roll up your sleeves and take responsibility, even beyond your core area.
• You are courageous and show stance: you address things, persist in the face of resistance and do not easily lose your composure.
• At the same time, you approach people with empathy and quickly create trust, both with employees and with managers.
• You work independently, proactively and expeditiously and appreciate constructive, solution-oriented cooperation in the team and with other internal and external contact persons.
• Your native language is German, and you have excellent knowledge of French and/or Italian.
