Experience required
- This is an Individual Contributor role. Candidates with more than 10 years of experience may be considered; however, they should be comfortable working in a hands-on individual contributor capacity, as this is not a Lead or Managerial position.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Avaloq Developer with strong banking domain knowledge, combining 60% technical expertise and 40% functional understanding.
- Hands-on experience in Avaloq scripting, parameterization, L2/L3 support, with excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Avaloq Certified Professional (ACCP) certification is preferred.
- Working Knowledge in Credit/Risk/Collateral/Performance Module is an advantage
- Excellent knowledge of banking, wealth management, as well as investments and financial products.
- Strong ability to organize and effectively conduct meetings and workshops, and to handle often complex topics with participants of diverse profiles.
- Very good knowledge of scripting/programming and strong proficiency in SQL query languages, as well as tools for database access.
- Knowledge and practice of Agile methodology (Scrum).
- Analytical and conceptual thinking, problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, good stress resistance, and ability to manage priorities.
- Autonomy and ability to work independently.
- Higher education in computer science (University, HES, Swiss Federal Diploma, EPF) or other training deemed equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Participate in the formulation of customer requirements, analyze them, and draft functional specifications.
- Ensure the proper integration of solutions into Avaloq by conducting FAT/integration tests.
- Support and coordinate the testing phases with end users (UAT).
- Provide level 3 support in case of production incidents.
- Participate in the review and analysis of existing architectures, identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing technical recommendations.
- Ensure the reliability and availability of solutions in production (monitoring and resolving production incidents).
