Bid Engineer RAM/LCC

In the bidding phase of railway projects, you analyze the requirements for reliability, availability, maintainability and life cycle costs and develop the corresponding calculations.

Tasks

• Analysis of customer requirements in the specialist area of RAM/LCC in the bidding phase
• Contract review and commenting on RAM/LCC relevant topics
• Definition and coordination of the bidding strategy regarding RAM/LCC topics
• Creation of calculations and computations in the specialist area of RAM/LCC
• Ensuring the timely delivery of all RAM/LCC documents
• Cooperation with interdisciplinary subject matter experts for international projects
• Coordination of the bidding documents with the bidding team, sales and management

Profile

• Completed studies in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering or transport systems
• Experience in Bid Engineering or in the specialist area of RAM/LCC in the railway industry
• Enjoyment of analysis and interpretation of technical contract requirements
• Resilient, exact way of working even under time pressure
• Very good German and English skills (level B2-C2)
