Your Role: For our newly emerging Drug Product R&D laboratory at the headquarters in Zofingen, we are looking for a dedicated personality with a passion for pharmaceutical development, analytics and practical laboratory work. You will work at the interface of formulation development, material profiling, pharmaceutical characterization and HPLC method development for oral solid dosage forms. In doing so, you will support innovative drug product solutions from early project phases to the technical decision-making basis. Your Profile: Your role: Planning, execution, documentation and evaluation of laboratory experiments for the development and optimization of oral solid dosage forms, especially tablets and capsules; Development and optimization of formulations as well as manufacturing processes on a laboratory scale, including mixing, granulating, tableting and coating; Execution of material profiling and pharmaceutical characterizations of active ingredients and excipients as well as intermediate and final products; Development, optimization and application of analytical methods, especially High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), as well as performing release and physical tests; Evaluation, interpretation and presentation of experimental data as a basis for technical and project-related decisions; Creation and maintenance of test plans, laboratory journals, testing methods, reports and other development documents; Commissioning, qualification, support and maintenance of laboratory equipment as well as helping to shape suitable laboratory processes and standards; Active participation in the setup of the new Drug Product R&D laboratory and contributing improvement suggestions; Ensuring compliance with specifications regarding safety, environmental protection, data integrity and quality. Your Profile: Expertise: Completed training as a laboratory technician EFZ with a specialization in chemistry, Bachelor in Life Sciences or a comparable qualification; Several years of practical professional experience in pharmaceutical development, ideally with solid oral dosage forms; Sound experience in formulation development, material characterization and practical laboratory work; Good knowledge of HPLC method development and other relevant analytical or physical testing methods; Experience in a regulated environment as well as interest in AI-supported working is an advantage; Proficient use of Microsoft Office; experience with LIMS, Chromeleon or comparable laboratory and documentation systems is an advantage; Very good German and good English skills in speaking and writing.
