What you can accomplish with us ###

The young people in the class have a visual impairment, are blind and/or are on the autism spectrum. You plan the level-adapted teaching according to the Lehrplan 21 and implement it. You are supported in teaching by a pedagogical collaborator as well as through close collaboration within the Cycle 3 team. You are specifically responsible for the subjects NMG, German and IVE. Your classes are based on individual education and support plans that you develop. Additionally, you supervise the pedagogical team, ensure coordination, and maintain contact with responsible persons and external specialized services. Administrative tasks such as maintaining children's records and writing reports are also part of your responsibilities. You also conduct placement interviews, participate in working groups and inter-class projects, and contribute to the organization of special weeks.

What you bring ###

You possess a degree recognized by the CDIP in school remedial pedagogy, a primary or secondary teaching certificate, or you are currently studying for a Bachelor in Primary Education or a Master in school remedial pedagogy. Ideally, you already have experience in teaching Cycle 3 students on the autism spectrum or with visually impaired children. You approach challenges, for example related to students on the autism spectrum (AS) and visual impairments, with the necessary professionalism and calmness. You enjoy working with a committed team and contributing to a climate of trust and support.

We are the Foundation for blind and visually impaired children and young people of Zollikofen - a private, politically and confessionally neutral, non-profit organization. Our mission is to support and accompany people with special needs from birth until young adulthood.
