What you can achieve

• Conception and implementation of scalable data architectures and data models for complex use cases
• Construction, further development, and operation of data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
• Development of suitable solutions for Data Storage, data integration as well as batch and streaming processing
• Construction of semantic data models as well as development and use of ontologies and Knowledge Graphs
• Application of AI and Machine Learning methods for the analysis of data and development of data-based solutions
• Integration of data and ML solutions into existing software and system landscapes via APIs and services
• Collaboration in the areas of Data Governance, Data Lifecycle Management, and auditing
• Management of security, access, and authorization concepts for data, platforms, and Data Science environments

What you bring with you

• Completed education in Data Science, Computer Science, or a comparable field of study; or career changers with comparable practical experience
• Several years of experience in the construction and implementation of complex data-driven solutions
• Sound knowledge of relational databases, Object Stores, and vector databases
• Very good knowledge in Data Engineering, especially in data modeling, data pipelines, storage technologies, and streaming
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes-based environments and enterprise storage, especially NetApp
• Independent, analytical, and solution-oriented way of working
• Fluent German skills; English skills (Level B2) are an advantage
• Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
