Paediatrician

Responsibilities related to the position

• Conduct paediatric consultations and ensure the health monitoring of infants, children, and adolescents, ensuring their growth and development.
• Establish diagnoses and ensure the management of common and complex pathologies in paediatrics, adopting a professional and innovative approach.
• Define prevention and vaccination actions according to current recommendations, and participate in public health awareness campaigns.
• Collaborate at the MediPed centre with other specialists (allergology, pneumology, endocrinology, obesity, developmental paediatrics) as well as with the hospital's paediatric service in order to ensure high-quality multidisciplinary management.
• Supervise and transmit your expertise to young doctors and healthcare teams in a continuous training approach.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree with specialization in Paediatrics, recognized in Switzerland or eligible for equivalence. MEBEKO recognition in Switzerland or in progress.
• Proven experience in general paediatrics (hospital and consultations) and the ability to manage a diversity of childhood pathologies.
• Ability to work in a team and to collaborate with different actors in the care pathway.
• Interest in social or medico-psychosocial paediatrics.
