Technical Caretaker / Team Leader Availability: Immediately Location: Weiningen (ZH) Percentage: 60–100 % About the company For a modern high-tech greenhouse facility with a production area of 15'000 m², we are looking for a committed Technical Caretaker who ensures technical operations and leads a small team professionally and organizationally. The facility features state-of-the-art automation, climate, and processing systems and places the highest demands on reliability, quality, and maintenance. Your tasks • Responsibility for the technical maintenance of the entire infrastructure and building technology • Planning and execution of maintenance, repair, and servicing work • Leadership and coordination of a small technical team • Organization of daily work as well as prioritization of arising tasks • Fault analysis and rectification of technical defects • Supervision of building technology systems as well as support for external service providers • Management of the spare parts warehouse and technical documentation • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards • Participation in on-call service Your profile • Completed technical vocational training (e.g., as a caretaker with federal certificate of proficiency, automation technician, mechanic, electrical installer, or comparable) • Several years of professional experience in technical maintenance or building technology • Experience in the leadership or coordination of a small team • Good knowledge of mechanics, electrics, pneumatics, and ideally hydraulics • Independent, solution-oriented, and structured way of working • Good German skills, English is an advantage • Proficient use of MS Office What you bring with you • Strong sense of responsibility • Leadership competence and organizational skill • Technical understanding and manual skills • Physical resilience • Willingness for flexible working hours and on-call service We offer • A varied and responsible activity • Modern technical infrastructure • A motivated team and short decision-making paths • Long-term perspective with development opportunities • Contemporary employment conditions
