Our location in Visp, Switzerland is growing continuously and we are currently looking for an Operations Manager Launch Manufacturing (m/f/d). In this position, you will lead the manufacture of innovative active ingredients in our production facilities. We in Development Services & Small-/Mid-Scale Operations support our customers from initial feasibility studies, through clinical trials to product launch and commercial manufacturing. We develop production processes for innovative active ingredients in our laboratories and implement them in our plants according to GMP at a technical scale. In doing so, you comply with applicable regulations and guidelines regarding safety, quality, and the environment. You lead the creation of risk analyses to ensure quality and safety during production. You identify opportunities for continuous improvement. You coordinate and lead cross-functional teams and ensure that our customers are delivered to cost-efficiently and on time. Through effective communication, commitment, and teamwork, you create a trusting and successful work environment in which we and our customers pursue a common goal. You adapt flexibly to changing priorities and are able to support multiple projects simultaneously. Your profile: Completed studies (PhD or Master) in chemistry, chemical engineering, process engineering, or a related field. Professional experience in chemical and/or pharmaceutical development or production is an advantage. Knowledge of GMP as well as business management competence is desirable. Strong analytical skills and enjoyment in dealing with complex technical issues. Fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing. High teamwork and communication skills when dealing with different stakeholders and hierarchical levels.
