Project Manager Facility

Purpose of the role

The Project Manager Facility is responsible for the planning, management, and implementation of new construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects at the Haag location. By coordinating internal and external project participants and ensuring schedule, cost, and quality targets, the position contributes to the sustainable further development of the operational infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Supervising and coordinating new construction and renovation projects at the location.

Developing, planning, and managing infrastructure projects including construction management, cost planning, and controlling.

Designing and further developing HVAC projects in cooperation with internal stakeholders.

Creating conceptual designs and coordinating planning with external specialist planners.

Accompanying building permit procedures in cooperation with external planning offices.

Planning and coordinating construction dates, taking into account operational requirements and project goals.

Managing and coordinating the trades of construction, HVAC, electrical, MSR, cleanroom technology, and fire protection.

Conducting tenders and participating in procurement processes together with central purchasing.

Monitoring construction execution with regard to schedules, costs, and quality.

Organizing acceptances, processing defects, and ensuring successful handover to users.

Taking on on-call duties for technical alarms and emergencies within the team.

Qualifications

Completed technical training, for example as an Installateur EFZ, HVAC planner, in mechanical engineering, or in a comparable specialist field.

Further training in the field of building technology or a related discipline.

Good German and English skills in speaking and writing.

Willingness for continuous professional further training.

Several years of professional experience in building, construction, or infrastructure technology.

Experience in the planning, management, and implementation of technical projects.

Strong analytical and conceptual skills as well as enjoyment in developing new solutions.

Assertiveness, negotiation skills, and a structured and goal-oriented way of working.

High flexibility, openness to new challenges, and strong service orientation.

Very good communication and coordination skills in dealing with different stakeholders.
