The Health Services department is part of our Operations division and professionally supports insured persons and pensioners in the area of occupational pension benefits. As a Specialist Disability Benefits BVG, you will support our insured persons on topics relating to incapacity for work and disability – with professional expertise, care, and empathy. You will process cases from A to Z and coordinate cooperation with internal and external partners. With your precise, efficient, and service-oriented way of working, you ensure smooth case processing and make an important contribution to high-quality support for our insured persons. You support your assigned group of insured persons on topics relating to incapacity for work and disability and are the first point of contact for their concerns You open benefit cases, assess them, and take over the administrative processing from A to Z You check IV preliminary decisions, raise objections if necessary, and process decrees You coordinate cooperation with Case Management, reinsurers, as well as IV, UV, MV, and daily sickness benefit insurers You set up disability benefits and process disability pension payments You provide oral and written information to insured persons, employers, legal representatives, and other stakeholder groups You also work closely with the teams from contract administration, accounting, customer service, and sales to ensure smooth processing You have a basic commercial training, ideally in the social insurance industry, and bring several years of professional experience in the benefit area of occupational pensions or disability You enjoy working independently, reliably, and in a structured manner You are open, helpful, and enjoy working in a team You communicate appropriately to the situation with insured persons and partners and respond to their concerns in a solution-oriented and appreciative manner You have proficient German language skills in speaking and writing.
