Shiptec AG is a subsidiary of SGV Holding AG. With a shipyard and an engineering office, it provides technical services in the areas of ship design and engineering, shipbuilding, ship refits, conversions and ship maintenance in a national and international environment.

Your area of responsibility

• Leadership and further development of employees in the systems department
• Coordination of the mechanics, electrical and pipefitting departments
• Ensuring efficient work planning, work allocation and schedule monitoring within the department
• Primary contact person for cross-departmental technical and organizational issues
• Responsibility for the implementation of improvement measures as well as for the continuous optimization of processes
• Leading projects, conversions, maintenance and production-related endeavors in the systems department
• Ensuring cooperation between the departments as well as high quality in execution
• Ensuring smooth operations and timely service delivery in the systems department
• Identifying customer needs and market potentials as well as deriving suitable offers
• Participation in the development and responsibility for the implementation of the strategy in the systems department
• Responsibility for the preparation and calculation of offers in cooperation with the responsible specialist departments
• Active participation in the acquisition of projects and orders as well as the further development of the customer and service portfolio

Requirement profile

• Basic technical training in a manual or industrial profession, for example as an electrical installer, mechanic, sanitary installer, supplemented by further training as a dipl. Techniker/in HF, a university of applied sciences degree or a comparable qualification
• Pronounced business and entrepreneurial understanding
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in a technical-manual or industrial production environment
• Experience in the coordination of different specialist departments as well as in the planning and control of workflows
• Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills as well as a solution-oriented way of working
• High sense of quality, deadlines and responsibility as well as enjoyment in working with different professional groups
• Openness towards changes, improvement processes and new working methods
