Social Worker 80-100% ##

Your tasks:

• You advise clients and their relatives on topics such as finances, housing, health, prevention, adult protection, retirement, and social participation.
• You offer individual support, accompany people in difficult life situations, and assist in the mediation of material aid and financial benefits.
• You are responsible for the elderly population of Dübendorf and also maintain the network.
• In the social counseling team, you support each other and engage in regular exchange.
• You advocate for good cooperation with colleagues from other services of PSZH.
• You gladly take on lectures on topics such as supplementary benefits, Docupass etc. and represent PSZH in public.
• You perform ZLV preliminary clarifications and referrals.
• If interested, there is the possibility to take over consultations in the area of pension regulations (workload 20%)

Your profile:

• You have a Bachelor's degree from a Fachhochschule in Social Work and have relevant professional experience in social counseling.
• You are knowledgeable in social insurance, specifically in the area of supplementary benefits.
• You enjoy working independently, take responsibility, and are resilient.
• You are a communicative, empathetic personality and value professional exchange within the team.
• Your way of working is structured, you can organize yourself well, and you set priorities correctly.
• You are familiar with administrative tasks and have good MS-Office skills.
