Versatile Logistician

Your mission

Under the responsibility of the Logistics Manager, you will mainly ensure the preparation and organization of shipments according to productions, orders, and defined priorities. You will ensure compliance with deadlines, the quality of preparations, and the proper traceability of operations.

Your main responsibilities

• Prepare orders and goods intended for shipment.
• Control the conformity of products, references, and quantities before shipment.
• Organize and pack goods according to transport requirements and product specificities.
• Correctly label and identify parcels, pallets, and shipping documents.
• Prepare the necessary documents for shipments.
• Organize preparations according to priorities, productions, and orders.
• Perform the necessary controls before the departure of goods.
• Enter and update information in the IT system.
• Guarantee the traceability of operations and report any anomaly or difference noted.
• Participate in the loading and unloading of goods in compliance with safety rules.
• Ensure the cleanliness, order, and safety of the preparation, storage, and shipping areas.
• Collaborate with the production, logistics, sales administration, and transport teams to ensure the smooth running of operations.
• Depending on the needs of the department, occasionally ensure the replacement of employees in different logistical activities, notably the reception of goods, storage, preparation of supplies, and inventories.
• Respect internal procedures (use of machines, safety instructions), deadlines, as well as safety instructions.

Your profile

• Training or first experience in the field of logistics, order preparation, or in a similar environment.
• Valid forklift driver's license in Switzerland with reach truck and forklift.
• Good ease with IT tools (Microsoft Office Suite); knowledge of a general ERP or Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central constitutes a real asset.
• Good understanding of French, orally and in writing.
• Good communicator, capable of explaining problematic situations and analyzing errors in the IT system.
