Who are we?

Die Eidgenössische Hochschule für Berufsbildung EHB is the Swiss expertise organization for vocational education and training. We train and further educate vocational training professionals, research vocational education, further develop professions, and support international vocational education cooperation. Our locations are in Zollikofen near Bern (headquarters), Lausanne and Lugano, with external locations in Olten and Zürich.

Your area of responsibility

• You are the first point of contact for managers and employees in all HR matters. You advise, support, and coach from personnel planning and recruitment to departure.
• You design and implement personnel development measures, support managers with employee discussions, development planning, and succession planning, and promote a lively feedback and learning culture.
• You participate in or independently lead HR and organizational projects, for example, during changes and transformations, process optimizations, or the further development of HR instruments.
• You support managers in demanding situations such as conflicts, performance issues, or reorganizations, and in doing so, also represent uncomfortable positions clearly and in a solution-oriented manner.
• You take on further tasks within the HR team and, with your initiative, contribute to further strengthening the HR area as a reliable partner.
• You are the deputy for your colleague for French-speaking and Italian-speaking Switzerland.

Your profile

• You possess a federal diploma (eidg. Fachausweis) as an HR specialist (HR-Fachfrau/HR-Fachmann) or an equivalent qualification. Further training in Change Management, Transformation, Organizational Development, or Project Management is a plus.
• You bring more than five years of professional experience in a comparable role. Experience in the education environment or the public sector is very welcome.
• You enjoy new challenges, roll up your sleeves, and take on responsibility, even beyond your core area.
• You are courageous and show stance: you address things, persist in the face of resistance, and do not let yourself be easily unsettled.
• At the same time, you encounter people with empathy and quickly create trust, with employees as well as with managers.
• You work independently, proactively, and expeditiously, and value constructive, solution-oriented cooperation within the team and with other internal and external contact persons.
• Your mother tongue is German, and you have excellent knowledge of French and/or Italian.
