Stellenantritt: 1. Oktober 2026 Arbeitsort: Interlaken At the Gymnasium Interlaken with its department in Gstaad, around 430 students and almost 70 teachers learn and teach. This makes the Gymnasium Interlaken the smallest public Matura school in the canton of Bern. To ensure a smooth operation in the school, employees in the administration and in the house service are committed. Our school is characterized by a personal atmosphere. Your tasks As a house service employee and deputy head of house service, you share responsibility for the smooth operation of our buildings and facilities. You ensure that all facilities are functional, safe and well-maintained. Your tasks include the care and monitoring of technical systems (heating, ventilation and building automation), the execution of maintenance, maintenance and repair work, as well as participation in the maintenance of buildings and outdoor facilities. In addition, you support the ensuring of fire protection, cleaning and locking systems, take on administrative tasks and represent the head of house service if necessary. Your profile You have completed a vocational training, ideally supplemented by a specialist certificate as a janitor, and have professional experience in a comparable function. You bring manual skills and technical understanding, are familiar with modern technical systems and building infrastructures, and enjoy carrying out smaller maintenance and repair work independently. Good MS-Office skills and a self-employed, careful and reliable way of working complete your profile. You appear friendly and service-oriented and bring the flexibility to also make occasional deployments at events, in the evening or on weekends.
