These are your tasks * You analyze the market, target groups and competition and recognize trends, customer needs as well as market potentials. * You define and position products within our portfolio and consistently develop them further from a market and user perspective. * You create clear product requirements and define product benefits, functions, variants as well as quality requirements. * You develop Product Briefs and work closely with Design, Engineering, Sales as well as other internal and external contact persons. * You accompany product development from the idea via prototypes and samples to the market launch. * You ensure the economic efficiency of the products, create business cases and prepare well-founded go/no-go decisions. * You accompany our products over the entire life cycle, evaluate market feedback and derive optimizations, extensions or phase-out decisions from it. * You actively contribute to the further development of our product management and product creation processes as well as to the building of structured market, competitive and customer knowledge. What you bring with you * Technical education - You have a completed degree in industrial engineering, electrical/lighting technology, mechanical engineering or a comparable subject (FH/HF/Uni). Business administration knowledge is an advantage. * Affinity for architecture and design -- You are enthusiastic about architecture, design and light and bring a strong sense for aesthetics, design and high-quality product solutions. * Experience in product management - You bring at least five years of experience in technical product management, ideally in lighting development, and know the entire product life cycle. * Technical know-how - You have sound knowledge of lighting technology, lighting control and relevant standards as well as experience with configurable product families and variant management. * Entrepreneurial thinking - You are confident in dealing with manufacturing costs, calculations, contribution margins and business cases. Knowledge of the project business and distribution channels in the DACH region is an advantage. * Way of working - You work in a structured and independent manner, set clear priorities and make well-founded decisions. At the interface between sales, design and engineering, you appear confident and convincingly. * Languages -- You speak German at a business level (C1/C2) and communicate confidently in English (B1/B2) -- both orally and in writing.
