SSR Real Estate Manager (co-direction possible) 100 %, Bern, with regular travel throughout Switzerland

We act as a UNIQUE team for the success of the SSR. Along with the other departments, Finance is responsible for strategic steering and objective-oriented resource allocation, and creates transparency for sustainable decisions.

Your mission ####

To successfully carry out this ambitious transformation mission, we are looking for a personality with a strong entrepreneurial spirit and excellent leadership skills to hold the position of SSR Real Estate Manager.

In this key role, you will lead all of the SSR's real estate activities at a national level. Reporting directly to the Director of Finance and being a member of the Finance management team, you play a key role in the transformation and development of the infrastructures of Switzerland's largest audiovisual group. With your team of managers, you design and implement the SSR real estate strategy. You thus contribute to ensuring the long-term fulfillment of its public service mission by creating high-performance, sustainable sites adapted to the future needs of media production. Convinced that real estate goes far beyond buildings and infrastructure, you make it a lever for collaboration, the attractiveness of work environments, and corporate culture. Your goal is to optimize the use of space and resources while preparing the SSR production and media sites for the challenges of tomorrow.

Your main challenges consist of:

• Leading and evolving a national real estate organization of more than 100 employees
• Valuing and developing a real estate portfolio of strategic importance for the future of the SSR
• Driving the transformation of sites by reconciling operational efficiency, sustainability, and cost control
• Shaping the future of key locations, including Genève/Ecublens, Comano, and Zurich-Leutschenbach
• Steering major investment, construction, and transformation projects
• Developing trusting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
• Defending real estate issues before management bodies and governance organs

Your profile ####

• A university education completed by a specialization in real estate or an equivalent qualification
• Proven management experience in a complex and multi-site environment
• Recognized expertise in managing large construction, development, or transformation projects
• A strong ability to define a strategic vision, to act with an entrepreneurial spirit, and to unite stakeholders with diverse interests
• Proven ease in interactions with governance bodies, authorities, and institutional actors
• Perfect command of German as well as good knowledge of at least one other national language
