Service Assistant (restaurant)

The employer is looking for a:

Waiter/Waitress (reported profession)

Tasks:

• dining room preparation: setting tables, cleaning and sanitizing the room before service.
• service: welcoming customers, presenting the menu and wine list, table service in coordination with the kitchen.
• order management: taking orders, managing timing and managing payments (cash register, cash, cards).
• closing: clearing tables, tidying up and cleaning post-service

Requirements:

• previous experience in the dining room (restaurants, hotels) from 1 - 3 years
• hourly flexibility (lunch-dinner shifts, weekends, holidays)
• empathy, courtesy and customer management skills
• excellent knowledge of the Italian language (any foreign languages welcome)
• good knowledge of English
• ability to work in a team
