Your task ##

• Planning and implementation of complete customer migrations into virtualized data center and cloud environments
• Migration of virtualized workplaces based on Omnissa Horizon
• Construction, configuration, and migration of virtual server and client environments
• Migration from Windows 10 to Windows 11 including testing and rollout
• Migration of users, data, permissions as well as Active Directory and GPO structures
• Configuration of networks, firewall rules, and security solutions with Sophos
• Coordination of the migration of specialist applications with customers and software manufacturers
• Technical responsibility for migration projects from analysis to productive commissioning

Your profile ##

• Completed training as Informatiker/in EFZ specializing in platform development/system engineering
• Further training as ICT-Platform Development Specialist with federal diploma or dipl. Informatiker/in HF is an advantage
• Several years of experience as an IT System Engineer with a focus on infrastructure, virtualization, and workplace
• Sound knowledge in VMware, vCloud, Omnissa Horizon, and DEM
• Very good knowledge of Windows Server, Windows 11, Active Directory, and GPO
• Experience with server, client, and infrastructure migrations
• Confident handling of Sophos firewalls as well as network and security topics
• Experience in technical project coordination with customers and software manufacturers
• Proficient German skills (C2) as well as very good English skills (B2)
• Possession of a category B driver's license
