The Age and Care sector of the city of Winterthur offers, in the five elderly care centers as well as with Spitex, a varied range of services for the population of the city of Winterthur. For the kitchen of the Adlergarten elderly care center, where approximately 160 residents, employees, and guests dine every day, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated cook, starting immediately or by arrangement, temporarily until the end of December 2026.

Your tasks ##

• Preparation of balanced and healthy meals for residents, employees, and visitors
• Compliance with hygiene and safety rules (HACCP)
• Taking special diets and intolerances into account
• Ordering and storing food items
• Collaboration with the kitchen team and other departments
• Ensuring the smooth running of kitchen operations
• Participation in events, aperitifs, banquets, and functions

Your profile ##

• Completed training as a cook CFC with experience in all kitchen positions
• Experience in collective catering is an asset
• Joy of cooking for seniors, employees, and guests
• Team spirit, stress resistance, and autonomous work
• Very good knowledge of German, both oral and written
• Availability for different shifts as well as for weekends and public holidays
