Intern

Die Stiftung Hochsteig operates a special education boarding school for around 46 in Lichtensteig and a day special education school for 27 children and adolescents of average intelligence with learning and behavioral difficulties (schools, day school groups, boarding school).

As of 1 February 2027, internship positions will become available at our Schulheim Hochsteig. The assignments take place in our day school group in combination with the school sector or in a boarding school group. An internship lasts at least 6 months; it can also be extended to 1 year.

Intern

You accompany and support children and adolescents in their everyday life in the day special education school combined with assignments in the school sector or in a boarding school group. You are at least 20 years old and have already completed an initial vocational training or have a Matura and work experience. Additionally, you are a team player and resilient.

We offer you an interesting field of work in a motivated team, supervision, internship support, a five-day week and 13 vacation weeks per year (through compensation). Lichtensteig is very easily accessible by public transport from the directions of St.Gallen, Wil, Rapperswil (each under 30 minutes).
