Data Engineer

What awaits you
Our small and well-coordinated team is the competence center for the Syrius database at Centris. We are responsible for the maintenance of the data of our core system Adcubum Syrius as well as other peripheral systems on Oracle databases. As a Data Engineer, you develop, operate and optimize our data solutions and accompany their entire lifecycle, from conception through implementation to operation. In doing so, you continuously expand your knowledge of the Syrius data model and become an important contact person in this area. * You analyze existing source and database structures and develop suitable solutions

• You implement the requirements of our internal and external clientele technically
• You further develop our existing tools and design new aids and solutions
• You create technical specifications and documentations based on functional requirements
• You analyze errors structurally, interpret logs and error messages and coordinate their rectification

What you bring professionally

• Experience in data analysis, data modeling and data architectures
• Sound knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL in the Oracle environment
• Experience in database software development
• Knowledge of the Syrius database and/or in the health and accident insurance sector is an advantage

• Good conceptual and analytical skills as well as pleasure in understanding complex relationships
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in collaborating with different stakeholders
