Tasks ###

• Management of a strategic transformation program to optimize the degree of vertical integration and value creation within an innovative mechanical engineering company
• Execution of make-or-buy analyses taking into account manufacturing costs, capacities, supply chains, and operational requirements
• Development of sound business cases as well as decision-making bases for management
• Steering and coordination of interdisciplinary teams from development, production, purchasing, quality, production planning, and assembly
• Identification and implementation of optimization and relocation potential along the value chain
• Support of the decided measures until successful industrialization and handover to serial production

Profile ###

• Completed studies as an engineer, industrial engineer, or comparable technical qualification
• Several years of experience in managing complex projects or transformation programs in an industrial environment
• Sound knowledge in the areas of make-or-buy, supply chain management, operations, or production strategy
• Experience with industrialization projects, production setup, or the optimization of value creation and manufacturing structures
• Ideally industry knowledge in mechanical engineering, plant engineering, or special purpose machinery
• Strong analytical skills as well as experience in creating robust business cases and management decision-making bases
• Confident appearance, high implementation strength, and enjoyment in steering cross-functional teams
• Structured, pragmatic, and hands-on working style
