Veterinary Practice Assistant TPA Tierklinik Zürich

A dynamically growing veterinary clinic with a wide range of specialties is looking for reinforcement who brings joy to demanding veterinary medicine and teamwork. In Zürich, we are looking for a Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ per sofort or by arrangement with a workload of 80 – 100 %. In a modernly equipped veterinary clinic, which is managed by several Diplomates and specialists from various veterinary fields, a varied area of responsibility with direct professional exchange and many continuing education opportunities awaits you.

What awaits you in this responsible task

• You receive, care for, and advise pet owners on the telephone and on-site and take over appointment scheduling as well as the maintenance of customer files
• You assist in consultations and support during operations including anesthesia monitoring and postoperative care
• You independently collect and process laboratory samples and participate in X-ray and ultrasound examinations
• You care for and sterilize surgical instruments and ensure cleaning, inventory management, and food orders
• You support in emergencies and take over the billing of services and medications

What you bring with you

• Completed training as a Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ or Veterinary Practice Assistant EFZ
• Experience in a small animal practice or clinic is an advantage
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing (at least level B2)
• Joy in dealing with animals and people
