As part of the expansion of our Software Quality Engineering division, we are looking for a Data oriented Senior Business Analyst (M/F) to work for one of our strategic clients, a public organization, within the team in charge of the relationship with users and business departments.

The client is conducting a multi-year transformation program of its information system in the energy field, following a product approach. You will strengthen the team for the next 36 months, with the mission to maximize the value delivered continuously. Your role will be key in strategic framing: making the link between the business vision and the implementation of digital services developed from various data repositories (buildings, third parties, etc.), multiple data sources, and a complex ecosystem of actors. Good knowledge of modeling solutions in compliance with applicable regulations is expected, and you will master their business feasibility.

The expected profile is not that of a simple functional analyst. It implies a posture of consulting, leadership, systemic analysis, and reliable execution, in a complex, matrix, and strongly data-oriented environment.

The mission is open to both freelancers and candidates looking for a permanent contract (CDI).

Your missions:

  • Strategic framing and consulting: defining the business problem and the resolution and implementation approach for each digital service request, presenting the request during the project kick-off, ensuring that the solution respects functional requirements according to business value and managing changes, assessing the criticality level of a situation and deciding or referring it to the project manager or the sector manager
  • Business, data, and modeling analysis: analyzing business needs, modeling processes and data flows, eliciting needs to refine functional and non-functional requirements, prioritizing according to value and compliance, and interacting with all stakeholders while taking into account technical and organizational constraints
  • Specifications, backlog, and product approach: describing functionalities in the form of user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing them in a backlog (e.g., Jira), negotiating and simplifying
  • Testing, acceptance, and quality: defining at a high level the testing strategy and organization, designing and executing tests, managing their execution by stakeholders, managing anomalies from their detection to the validation of their correction, ensuring reporting and the writing of test reports, and managing user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Facilitation, client relationship, and governance: facilitating or participating in workshops with stakeholders using collective intelligence techniques (preparation, facilitation, restitution), maintaining a climate of trust with the client, reporting to high levels of the organization, and uniting multidisciplinary teams in a matrix environment
  • HES degree, engineering degree or equivalent
  • At least 8 years of experience in functional and business analysis of complex IT projects
  • Certification in business analysis (BABOK, CBAP, ISTQB, IIBA or equivalent)
  • Significant experience in resolving complex business issues (diagnosis, data collection and analysis, systemic thinking, structuring hypotheses, business value analysis, modeling)
  • Experience in business process and data flow modeling
  • Elicitation of needs and prioritization according to business value
  • Significant experience in the specification of business and system requirements, notably in the form of user stories
  • Development and implementation of testing strategies
  • Management of user acceptance testing (UAT) and anomaly tracking
  • Facilitation of collaborative workshops with collective intelligence techniques
  • Practice of a backlog management tool (e.g., Jira)
  • Successful experience in business analysis in the implementation of data repositories and multiple sources

Would be a plus:

  • Knowledge of the Hermès methodology
  • Knowledge of eCH standards
  • Experience in public administration

Your skills:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high-level communication: active listening, adapting speech to the interlocutor, reporting to high levels, mastered and error-free French
  • Ability to take a high-level view of business, strategic, and regulatory issues
  • Ability to challenge the need, structure the problem, and propose recommendations
  • Ability to influence without hierarchical authority, negotiate, simplify, and arbitrate between several stakeholders
  • Analysis, synthesis, and popularization
  • Leadership, commitment, and dynamism
  • Constructive attitude towards change
  • Adaptability, innovation, and rapid skill acquisition
  • Mission start: 15 January 2027
  • Occupation rate: 100 %
  • Duration: indefinite, at most 5 years
