Die Zürcher Ziegeleien, a valued customer of ours, offer ceramic solutions for the entire building envelope. For over 150 years, their clay building materials have contributed to making living more natural and construction easier. From a simple raw material, they develop sophisticated systems for roof, wall, and facade. Since 2020, they have been part of the swisspor Gruppe.

As part of succession planning, we are looking for a committed leader for the Istighofen plant as:

Head of Maintenance

Your tasks

Ensuring high availability of the production plants and the associated infrastructure.

Solution-oriented leadership of the team: Responsibility for a total of 10 employees. Analysis of maintenance processes and continuous efficiency increase.

Planning and coordination of maintenance and repair work to ensure smooth production.

Responsibility for the efficient management of the spare parts warehouse and continuous improvement of spare parts management.

Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards:
Conducting risk analyses and safety inspections.

Monitoring the maintenance budget: Ensuring effective cost control and ensuring the timely implementation of all measures.

Identification of savings potential and investment opportunities. Further development of the team, also in view of age-related fluctuation, to ensure the long-term innovative strength and competitiveness of the department.

Your profile

Completed basic mechanical or electrical training.

Further training as a maintenance manager or a similar qualification is desirable.

Sound knowledge of modern maintenance strategies: Practical experience is an advantage.

Excellent leadership and communication skills: Necessary to lead the team effectively.

High level of personal responsibility and problem-solving skills: Operational activity and willingness to get hands-on yourself.

Ideally good oral and written English skills and, of course, very good German skills.
