With us, you have the freedom to use your talents independently for an absolutely meaningful mission.Strategy meets real impactWithin the organization -Site Network Basel/Kaiseraugst- we are responsible for the implementation of CO2 neutrality and the sustainable operation of the energy infrastructure in the cluster -First Net Zero Site-.As Decarbonisation Manager, you will be the heart of our local decarbonization agenda in a central interface function.Your opportunityStrategic project & concept management: You will further develop the site-specific decarbonization strategy (Scope 1, 2 & 3), proactively drive topic-specific roadmaps and translate these into pragmatic action plans.Stakeholder management at all levels: You act as a bridge builder between site management, Real Estate Management, production teams and various global organizations such as the Corporate Sustainability team.Change Management & communication: You create awareness for sustainability among employees and make our progress transparently visible to site management, committees and stakeholders.Who you areWe are looking for a personality that perceives challenges as opportunities. We rely on an entrepreneurially minded personality who proactively moves forward as a real doer and prefers to achieve their goals through teamwork.What you bring:A successfully completed degree in the field of engineering (process engineering, energy/environmental technology), environmental sciences, industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.Deep understanding of Corporate Sustainability, Carbon Accounting (Scope 1-3) as well as ideally knowledge in Product Carbon Footprints (PCF), Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) or Sustainable Construction - combined with the strength to successfully translate these topics into business practice.Several years of demonstrable experience in project management, in which you have shown that you not only develop strategic concepts but also successfully and purposefully implement them in practice.You are able to prepare complex topics in a receiver-oriented manner and win stakeholders at all levels (management, production, technical experts) for your goals - even without formal authority to instruct.Very good English and German skills in speaking and writing for secure exchange in our international environment.What characterizes your working style:High initiative and independent working: You do not wait for work orders, but proactively identify potentials and drive your projects in a targeted manner.Entrepreneurial mindset: You manage our projects and the site's CO2 balance in a solution-oriented, pragmatic and cost-conscious manner.Great commitment: The transformation of a historically grown site requires perseverance and passion.
