For one of our projects, we are looking for a committed, reliable and responsible person, possessing in-depth knowledge of AVEVA PI (DA, AF, DAS) and experience in connecting automation systems.

You have several years of professional experience as a system engineer, ideally in a GMP regulated environment, as well as knowledge in automated drug manufacturing. A training or studies in computer science, electrical engineering, automation or in a comparable field are required. Knowledge of SQL as well as a good level of English are an advantage.

Your field of activity:

System Architect: responsibility for connecting automation systems to AVEVA PI as well as data modeling in PI AF. This includes the configuration of interfaces, management of adjacent components (PI Vision, PI DAS) and ensuring continuous maintenance throughout the lifecycle.
Solution Design: joint analysis of PI system requirements with internal business partners and implementation of optimal solutions in compliance with GMP.
Project Engineering: planning and processing of projects focused on PI-Historian - from specification to handover to operations.
Operation & support: joint guarantee of administration and proper functioning in a team (including error analysis, root cause analysis and deviation management).
Compliance: management of change control processes as well as qualification and validation activities according to Roche directives.
Knowledge Transfer: training of employees as well as support for customers during technical questions and authority inspections.

Your candidate profile: ##

Our requirements:

• Studies or training in computer science, electrical engineering, automation or in a comparable field
• Expertise: in-depth knowledge of AVEVA PI as well as associated infrastructure components (DA, AF, DAS) and experience in connecting automation systems and their maintenance throughout the lifecycle
• SQL experience appreciated
• IT Architecture: broad understanding of networks and system integration in an industrial environment
• Several years of practice as a system engineer with experience in project engineering, ideally in a GMP regulated environment
• Knowledge in automated manufacturing of pharmaceutical products
• Mandatory mastery of German and English appreciated
